Partners in Development Foundation is partnering with the Department of Health and City&County of Honolulu to support at-risk families during this pandemic. Together with the nonprofit program, We Are Oceania (WAO), the organization assists Micronesian and Pacific Island and other low-income communities in Hawaii with COVID19-related information and resources.

They are looking for qualified applicants who meet the minimum requirements and can work full-time at an apartment facility as a Hospitality Associate to provide contact-free support for incoming families who are staying at the facility. The position will start off with training about health/safety, resources, and services available to families or individuals, as approved by DOH. All interested candidates are welcome to apply, preferably with some experience in hospitality, mental health, or health industries, and/or familiarity working with Pacific Islander communities.

Full-time, this a 24-hr facility. Shifts will vary, but primarily be between 6am and 10pm

$25 an hour


  • Identify, monitor, and participate in safety/care protocols for incoming residents who do not require the services of a professional case manager.
  • Participate in the case review team for more complex cases.
  • Provide families information on available educational, community, and governmental resources.
  • Monitor and maintain client records and documentation.
  • Respond in a timely manner to client requests, and serve as a supportive advocate for the individuals and families who are in quarantine or isolation.
  • Coordinate care services and the acquisition of meals and basic necessities in a contact-free environment, e.g. PPE, hygiene materials, diapers, etc.
  • Participate and be available for training to remain up to date on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma required.
  • Must have, or able to obtain, First Aid, AED, and Adult, Child and Infant CPR certification.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality required. At least 2 years of work experience in a community setting or human-service agency preferred.
  • Must have empathy, and a general understanding of the challenges faced by the community being served.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Comfortable with working occasional shifts that are outside of the primary hours (6am to 10pm); overnight shifts may be needed at times.
