Non-profit organization that focuses on helping seniors and people with cognitive, social and physical disabilities is hiring!

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the daily duties related to the recruitment and placement of applicants, onboarding new employees, creating and managing new employee records, and providing quality assurance and employee customer service.


Full-time, Mondauy to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm


Honolulu, Oahu


  • Implement organization?s recruitment, selection and hiring policy in accordance with organization?s needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement an outreach plan to network and market the organization's mission. Actively recruit from applicant referral agencies, community organizations, and non-profit agencies that provide services to individuals with disabilities, veterans and other potential employees.
  • Identify job fairs and hiring events that best meet the organization?s needs.
  • Oversee activities relating to onboarding new hires and monthly New Hire Orientation.
  • Oversee pre-screening by HR Assistant and use discretion when conducting initial interviews of applicants to determine job qualifications for openings in all programs before recommending interviews with hiring managers.
  • Work with hiring managers to define job qualifications and advertising in multiple media venues, including the posting quality and content, and make recommendations to managers about additional recruiting resources, to attract the best-qualified candidates.
  • Oversee for accuracy and thoroughness work of HR Assistant relating to job postings and pre-screening.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of files and records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor?s degree in human resources and 3+ years experience, or equivalent.
  • Valid driver?s license and clean driver?s abstract.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to pass TB clearance, pre-employment background check and drug screening, and Child Protective Service/Adult Protective Service check.
  • Ability to give clear instructions or directions to others.
  • Adaptable to changing situations.
