Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$60,000 to $65,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Assist with data and reports set-up in all I.T. application systems.
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular system updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Train staff on the use of hardware, software, and IT systems.
  • Document support processes and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions.
  • Report and/or request to immediate supervisor/manager any I.T. hardware, software or instructional needs or assistance that are beyond the scope of this job description.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication ability.
  • Proven experience as an IT Technical Support Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • The ability to strategize key update and maintenance timeframes with minimal impact on operations.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willing to learn and apply new skills.
  • Able to work well with others and help when needed and able.
