Job Description

Our client is seeking an Interior Designer to join their team. In this role, you will start out by assisting with architectural and engineering drawings for smaller building construction. This is an excellent career-building opportunity for someone with a degree in architecture or equivalent years of experience who possess knowledge of drafting software.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$48,000 to $55,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Create architectural drawings, construction details, and project documentation.
• Assist in all project phases, from initial planning through construction completion.
• Review drawings for accuracy, errors, and omissions.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and assist with the building permit process.
• Attend client meetings and help build relationships with project vendors.
• Perform site visits to observe construction progress and report findings.
• Maintain project schedules and meet all assigned deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture and/or combination of degree(s) in a related field and/or equivalent number of years of experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp and Photoshop required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D Studio.
