Our client is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of their residential community. The site consists of three five-story buildings strive to provide cleanliness for residents. You will be responsible for the general upkeep and sanitation of our residential property. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across common areas, lobby spaces, and recreational facilities. You will work independently to ensure that our grounds, elevators, and trash facilities are kept orderly and hygienic.

Pay

$21 an hour

Responsibilities

• General Sanitation: Safely clean and remove waste from both indoor and outdoor areas of the property.
• Lobby Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and polish lobbies, including the cleaning of stainless steel walls and glass surfaces.
• Trash Management: Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness and order within all trash rooms and surrounding trash chute areas.
• Elevator Care: Keep elevator cabs clean and presentable.
• Facility Upkeep: Clean and maintain the BBQ area (including two grills) and the pool area (including eight pool chairs).
• Floor Care: Maintain carpeting throughout all residential floors.

Qualifications

• Professional Appearance: Must dress presentably at all times (shirt, long pants, and comfortable, safe shoes; no offensive attire allowed).
• Reliability: Proven ability to follow a regular cleaning schedule and maintain property standards.
• Attention to Detail: Committed to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and order.
• Physical Ability: Able to perform tasks related to cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining grounds across multiple building levels.
• Experience: Previous verifiable experience of at least 6 months.
