Job Description

Ideal position for candidates with background in handling contract disputes, business torts, commercial collection matters, landlord tenant disputes and complex commercial matters. Great opportunity to work on cases, interact with clients and join in the success of the practice.

Hours

Full-time, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$90,000 to $130,000 a year, DOE

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on risk management and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with senior partners and colleagues to develop case strategy and ensure the effective resolution of matters.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Hawaii Bar.
• 1-5 years experience in civil litigation.
• Proven experience in managing cases, from discovery through trial and appeal.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
