Our client is seeking a dedicated, hands-on, and experienced professional to manage maintenance operations for their portfolio of retail properties. In this role, you will be leading the maintenance operations, ensuring that all locations remain safe, clean, and fully operational while providing top-tier service to our tenants and visitors as a working supervisor. They are looking for a reliable individual who is comfortable both performing hands-on repairs and coordinating with outside vendors to ensure the properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Pay
$30 to $35 an hour
Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day maintenance operations across the retail portfolio, ensuring all properties meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards.
- Hands-On Maintenance: Perform and service a wide variety of repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, roofing, irrigation, and general building system troubleshooting.
- Tenant & Visitor Relations: Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, ensuring work is completed on time and to specifications.
- Administration: Utilize computer systems to manage daily work orders, respond to emails, and generate status reports for management.
- Emergency Response: Serve as a key point of contact for the portfolio, including availability to respond to after-hour facility emergencies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building maintenance preferred.
- Leadership: 2+ years of supervisory or lead maintenance experience is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on high-quality customer service.
- Administrative Skills: Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including email, work order management software, and reporting.
- Transportation: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel between property sites.
- Flexibility: Ability to respond to after-hour emergency situations when they arise.
