Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that support our organization's mission, programs, and community engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of digital marketing platforms.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$24 to $27 an hour

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications plan with measurable goals.
• Create and manage marketing campaigns across various platforms.
• Maintain brand consistency and messaging across all online platforms.
• Produce and distribute bi-monthly email newsletters.
• Manage and update the organization's website.
• Coordinate social media content across all platforms.
• Write, design, and edit content for various marketing materials.
• Lead graphic design efforts for print and digital assets.
• Photograph and document events for marketing purposes.
• Manage public relations initiatives, including press releases and media monitoring.
• Collaborate with partners and leadership on marketing strategies.
• Assist with donor and corporate materials, grant reports, and presentations.
• Represent the organization at community events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or business administration preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social media platforms.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent graphic design abilities.
• Experience in developing and launching marketing initiatives.
• Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and analytics.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
