A successful development company with a large real estate portfolio is seeking an Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have great administrative skills with prior accounting experience.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Location

Downtown, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$40,000 to $45,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, reviewing, and answering email.
  • Process transactions and check requests on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on delinquent payments.
  • Assist with project-based accounting and filling (Development, Accounting, Credit Cards).
  • Handle Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  • Analyze and approve financial statements for multiple entities.
  • Process transactions, and update ledgers, budgets, etc.
  • Prepare financial reports.
  • Provide support to the accounting department incl. administrative, accounts payable, GET filings, audits, resolving discrepancies, etc.

Qualifications

  • Accounting education preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting (incl. GL, JE?s, financial reporting, balance sheet, income statement & cash flow).
  • Experience in QuickBooks & AppFolio.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
