Office Secretary (221835-14)
A local architecture firm seeking an office secretary to support their office operations to support the principal architects. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and interested in a long-term position within a professional and collaborative office environment. THe ideal candidate is comfortable managing a variety of administrative responsibilities and supporting leadership with accuracy and discretion.
Hours
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Location
Downtown, Honolulu, Oahu
Pay
$22 to $27 an hour
Responsibilities
- Answer phones, manage email correspondence, and greet visitors
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments
- Prepare, format, and organize correspondence, reports, and documents
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with preparation of proposals, meeting notes, and project-related documents
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal staff as needed
- Order office supplies and assist with general office operations
- Support office organization and administrative processes
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or a professional services environment is a plus, but not required
