Job Description

One of Hawaii's largest distributors is seeking an experienced corporate professional to help with operations, training, and employee engagement. The Operations & Training Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing in-depth training programs and materials, identifying training needs within the company, and determine the best training solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in training programs, employee engagement, process improvement, or process mapping.

  • Create and implement in-depth training programs and materials.
  • Identify training needs within the company by collaborating with department managers and specialists.
  • Determine best training solutions by thoroughly assessing areas of need throughout company.
  • Maintain records of training and development programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing, implementing and presenting training programs in a corporate setting.
  • Previous experience training a diverse group of workers.
  • Bachelor?s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines.
