Are you looking for a rewarding career with a flexible schedule? Our client is immediately looking for two part-time Consultants responsible for providing information, assistance and advocacy to parents of children with disabilities.

The Consultant conducts parent and professional training on Oahu and Neighbor Islands on special education roles, rights and responsibilities. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Parking will be provided!

Hours

Part-time, 16-20 hours per week between 8:00am-5:00pm. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$17 to $20 an hour

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of Hawaii?s special education system and related Federal and State laws.
• Experience conducting presentations and trainings in the community.
• A degree in special education, human services, or related field is highly desired.
• Ability to learn detailed curricula and conduct research.
• Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
• Ability to travel to the neighbor islands.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
