Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$30 to $35 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule for multiple clients and employee groups.
  • Review timesheets, payroll records, deductions, and earnings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee and client information within payroll and accounting systems.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, earnings summaries, and supporting documentation.
  • Generate and process client invoices and assist with billing-related inquiries.
  • Prepare weekly certified payroll reports and affidavits in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized payroll, tax, and employee records while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and record verification as needed.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to employee, client, and internal inquiries via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support onboarding, payroll changes, and account maintenance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll practices, payroll taxes, wage and hour regulations, and compliance requirements in Hawaii.
  • Experience with certified payroll reporting is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
