Project Manager/Engineer (222586-11)
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring their timely completion while maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction.
Hours
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm
Location
Honolulu, Oahu
Responsibilities
- Oversee project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain project schedules for subcontractors, suppliers, and field workers.
- Coordinate and manage procurement processes for materials and equipment.
- Review and approve project submittals and technical documentation.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites.
- Provide field engineering support and problem-solving as needed.
- Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
- Proficiency in writing Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Order Proposals.
- Ability to perform accurate material take-offs and quantity estimations.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting project plans and specifications.
- Experience in gathering and organizing technical data for material submittals.
- Proficiency in creating and updating project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and/or Adobe software for document management.
- Excellent time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
