Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control/Project Manager to oversee construction project quality and manage day-to-day field operations. This dual-role position is responsible for implementing the quality control program, ensuring compliance with contractual and safety requirements, coordinating subcontractors, and managing project schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and able to balance both technical oversight and project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and lead QC-related meetings and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Manage and document the three phases of control, including preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.*
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and contract documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure required testing and certifications are completed and documented.
  • Oversee QC documentation, reporting, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Provide daily progress, quality, and inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to schedule work and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with material take-offs, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Track and manage change orders, invoices, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Assist in estimating smaller projects and change orders.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, and resources to maintain efficiency.
  • Promote a safe jobsite and enforce adherence to safety programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all postings, documentation, and training meet compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, quality control, or related field.
  • Certification in Construction Quality Management for Contractors (or ability to obtain).
  • OSHA 30 certification and EM-385 training preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work independently.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, estimating, and project tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
