Great opportunity to assist with the day-to-day sales operations of a local health insurance firm. In this role, you will assist with ensuring clients have a smooth experience?from client prospecting, to proposal generation, to onboarding.

Since this role will be managing the Customer Relationship Management database, prior experience with Salesforce is highly preferred.

Hours

Full-time, 39 hours/week, Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:00pm, Fri 8:00am-4:00pm

Pay

$35,000 to $50,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the sales pipeline including lead assignment, requests for quotes (RFQ), and proposal generation. Ensure Salesforce is kept up to date throughout the entire process.
  • Work with staff members and customers to resolve questions and ensure receipt of the correct documentation needed to evaluate risk and set premium levels.
  • Assist Brokers and Account Executives with onboarding clients including final paperwork, client meetings and setup, and onsite orientations as needed.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Chief Revenue Officer and Director of Sales Operations on the current state of the pipeline, action items, and pending items to ensure pipeline quality control.
  • Serve as an administrative backup to the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree; 2 years of experience in sales operations, health insurance or a related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, time management, and verbal and written communications skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Good typing, reporting and database management skills.
  • Valid driver?s license, personal vehicle and no-fault auto insurance required.
