Job Description

Successful business in Honolulu has a full-time opening on their team for a Sales Representative. We're looking for a competitive, customer-centric individual who has a knack for solving problems and loves to win. As the Sales Representative you will build and maintain relationships with clients and ensure they receive the highest level of service. This role will be a base plus commission, so we are looking for motivated people that understand how to close deals and build long term relationships for repeat buyers.

Work Schedule: o Sunday 11am - 5:30pm o Monday OFF o Tuesday 9:30am - 6:30pm o Wednesday 9:30am - 6:30pm o Thursday 9:30am - 6:30pm o Friday & Saturday 9:30am - 7pm

Pay

$75,000 to $110,000 a year, base + commission

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Generate reports and data on monthly sales
  • Ensure all merchandise is secure.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Utilize Client Relationship Management systems to retain precise customer information.
  • Remain up to date on industry news and insights.
  • Develop a profound understanding of delivering luxury service and the preferences of buyers (comprehensive training provided).
  • Interact genuinely with customers, seeking to comprehend their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Establish and nurture positive connections within the local community.
  • Work synergistically with the Sales Management team to achieve shared sales objectives.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous sales/office experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients.
  • High energy with an ability to bounce back from periodic rejection.
  • Exhibit unwavering commitment to representing the company through exceptional customer service.
  • Articulate thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate effective organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of luxury retail experience.
  • Ability to speak another language.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior GIA coursework or a gemologist graduate degree is beneficial.
