Senior Account Manager (221868-05)
Detail-oriented financial professional responsible for managing full-cycle accounting, payroll, reporting, budgeting, and tax coordination for a multi-entity organization. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently, and a high level of discretion. The position oversees daily financial operations, prepares management and financial reports, supports year-end and tax preparation, administers retirement and benefit plans, and serves as a trusted resource to leadership for financial planning and decision-making.

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Pay
$65,000 to $70,000 a year
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting and daily financial operations for multiple entities.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and related tax filings.
- Maintain cash reports, cash flow projections, and budget tracking.
- Process and manage accounts payable; oversee basic accounts receivable and billing functions.
- Prepare internal and external financial reports for management and leadership.
- Perform month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) on accrual and tax bases.
- Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals; prepare schedules and supporting documentation.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Monitor and manage retirement and benefit plans, including contributions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records across accounting systems and software platforms.
- Track and report key performance metrics and operational data to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with payroll, tax, and reporting requirements at federal and state levels.
- Handle sensitive financial and personnel information with discretion and integrity.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across financial operations.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in accounting and financial operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and billing software.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with payroll systems (ADP preferred).
- Knowledge of pension and 401(k) plan administration.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and dependability.
- Ability to work independently and manage confidential information.
