Senior Data Analyst (223016-11)
A reputable local organization is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead customer research, data analysis, and reporting initiatives. This role is responsible for designing and executing research studies, analyzing complex datasets, and providing insights to support business strategy, customer programs, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has strong quantitative expertise, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
This position may transition to a hybrid schedule of up to two days per week, based on business needs and manager discretion.

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours

Pay
$109,000 to $142,000 a year
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of research projects, including customer satisfaction, market research, and program evaluation initiatives
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to generate insights and support decision-making
- Develop and manage surveys, including maintaining online research panels and conducting recurring studies
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
- Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts on research design, data analysis, and reporting standards
- Conduct forecasting, financial analysis, and economic modeling as needed
- Coordinate and support focus groups and external research vendor engagements
- Evaluate program effectiveness, including communications and customer engagement initiatives
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and information requests with accurate data and analysis
- Support emergency response activities and communication efforts as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve research methods, tools, and data processes, including leveraging emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in research, data analysis, program evaluation, or related fields
- Strong background in quantitative analysis, statistical methods, and data modeling
- Experience working with large datasets and database management
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SAS, SPSS, or similar statistical software
- Experience designing and conducting research studies, surveys, and data collection efforts
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Experience mentoring or leading analysts and coordinating project efforts
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Familiarity with regulated environments, public policy, or energy/utility sectors is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
