Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer who is passionate about building intuitive, impactful digital experiences and ready to take ownership of product design strategy. In this role, you’ll oversee UX research, design, and execution for our SaaS platform — from discovery through launch. You’ll work closely with executives to communicate vision and direction, while collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership role and potentially establish and run a design department in the future.

This position will allow for hybrid work from home days after training and upon managers discretion and approval.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$80,000 to $110,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design and strategy for SaaS platform features and enhancements.
• Manage the end-to-end design process, from user research and prototyping to delivery.
• Present design strategies and recommendations to senior leadership and executives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Mentor and support other designers, with potential to build and manage a team.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of internal design systems.
• Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of UX/product design experience, ideally with SaaS platform design.
• Proven track record of launching SaaS products and improving user workflows.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma preferred).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications; HR tech or compliance tools a plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including with executives.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to balance execution with long-term vision.
