Seeking a creative full-time Social Media and Marketing Planner for a kama'aina distribution company that's been in business for over 70 years! This role will work closely with sales management to create engaging content for the company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences, customers, and staff. This role will also actively monitor marketing analytics in order to consistently improve the company?s social media practices over time.

$20 an hour


  • Manage company social media channels including webpage, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
  • Propose and determine social media content that promotes audience interaction and presence on company sites.
  • Train sales staff and other employees on the use of social media sites.
  • Keep track of comments and posts to determine proper feedback and response with management approval.
  • Update website with monthly flyers, specials, closeouts, and promotions.
  • Create dynamic written, graphic, and video content.
  • Oversee social media campaign analytics, tweak campaigns according to findings, and present report findings as needed.
  • Search engine optimize (SEO) new and existing content.
  • Research industry innovations and tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Prior experience in marketing or social media.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Strong marketing analytics skills.
  • Creative writing skills with the ability to optimize content according to SEO best practices.
  • Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
  • Deadline oriented with excellent time management skills.
