Job Description

As a Stock Clerk, you are the backbone of our retail operations. You will be responsible for maintaining store inventory, replenishing sales floor stock, and ensuring the products meet high quality standards. While your primary focus is on stock and inventory, you will also act as a Brand Ambassador, greeting guests with an “Aloha” spirit, providing product knowledge, and assisting customers to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Must be available to start and end after normal store hours for opening and closing procedures. Store is open 7 days a week and may require work on weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Efficiently replenish sales floor stock and understock, utilizing the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to ensure product freshness.
• Receiving: Assist warehouse staff in receiving and transporting products safely.
• Organization: Maintain clean, safe, and organized stockrooms and sales floor areas.
• Quality Control: Handle all products with care to prevent damage; monitor and report product conditions to management.
• Customer Engagement: Provide exemplary service by greeting guests, answering questions, offering samples, and assisting with suggestive selling.
• Visual Standards: Maintain excellent merchandising standards and ensure a clean, welcoming retail environment.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and stand/walk for the duration of your shift.
• Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly.
• Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive, professional appearance.
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, upbeat, and helpful demeanor.
• Flexibility: Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and opening/closing shifts.
• Math Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and logs.
• Certification: Must possess or be able to obtain a current TB clearance.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with management and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
