The main duties of this job include answering incoming phone calls, responding to emails, performing hardware/software maintenance, and assisting end users with their day-to-day technical duties and issues.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm

Location

Iwilei, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$18 to $21 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide primarily remote (phone/email support) to 3000+ subscribers of real estate software.
  • Answer help desk phone calls and emails, providing first level corrective action, and escalation to second level when necessary, recording notes for each interaction.
  • Approach all issues with a customer-centric mindset, seeking to resolve issues completely and promptly, including verification of resolution, and gathering and providing required information if escalation is required.
  • Provide additional technical assistance and advice to users as needed for both company and third-party applications, products, and services.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure quality and continuity of service, including user testing and supporting product and service design and development efforts.
  • Act as initial contact for internal customer technical support required for computer workstation hardware and software, telephone, network, operating system, printing, and Internet access problems.
  • Perform installs, upgrades, migrations, moves, and other changes for computer workstation hardware and software, including peripheral devices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous technical support experience with excellent troubleshooting skills for computer workstation hardware and software, telephone, network, operating system, printing, and Internet access problems.
  • Highly customer service oriented.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
