Telecomm Project Manager (PMP) (200745-11)

Seeking an experienced Project Manager for a stable IT engineering firm. This position deals with IT Infrastructure upgrades, security camera installations, wireless communications upgrades, Access Control systems, and other security device installations.

This role will work directly with clients to develop project plans and effectively communicate any recommendations, risks, and issues that may arise.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall management of team members to ensure implementation and completion of projects assigned. Coordinate team interactions as needed for project success.
  • Monitor and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide progress reports and review with team and client as needed.
  • Identify project issues and proactively implement corrective actions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field of study preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management or equivalent leadership experience, managing the full life cycle of a project involving at least 20 people (customers, suppliers, contractors, project team members).
  • Experience in estimating work from an RFQ and having done site surveys in order to complete the estimate.
  • Experience in crafting Statement/Scope of Works for the customer, Project Assumptions, Critical Success Factors for a project, Project Plans, Status Reports, Sign-off documents, and other essential documentation for the full life-cycle of a project.
  • Experience in project escalation and Change Order processing.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Working knowledge of WAN?s, LAN?s, Routers, Switches, Structured Cabling, and Server connections.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
