Job Description

Seeking individuals who are interested in the banking industry who are energetic, professional and possess a positive attitude. To succeed in this role, you must be organized and able to multitask with an emphasis on accuracy and detail orientation.

As a Teller, you will be responsible for assisting members with account openings, deposits, withdrawals, a providing other banking services as requested. You?ll provide service for a variety of transactions, which include in-person, telephone, and electronic assistance.

Full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$16.50 to $18 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Process a variety of banking transactions efficiently within the established guidelines and procedures.
  • Demonstrate quality customer service principles when dealing with customers both in the branch and over the phone.
  • Maintain dual custody and maximum security over all cash on hand.
  • Actively identify customer financial needs to cross-sell appropriate bank products and services.
  • Address customer issues/questions/concerns, referring to the appropriate internal resources as necessary for resolution.
  • Work with the customer and other branch members to understand each customer?s normal account activity to identify fraudulent activity to prevent losses.
  • Develop new customer relationships and open new accounts for customers.
  • Maintain customer information on all branch accounts ensuring that account information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly branch operations and compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner ? i.e., dormant account reports.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years? experience in teller operations, and opening new accounts.
  • Knowledge of basic math.
  • Ability to properly handle cash.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Subject to credit check, criminal history check, OFAC check, and fingerprints.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required by client for this position. This is not an ALTRES Staffing requirement.
