Job Description

Excellent opportunity to provide training to employees of a reputable airline as they transition to a new reservation system!

This role will work as part of the implementation team and will be primarily responsible for the instructional delivery of the courseware as it relates to the new Amadeus/Altea system.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with reservation systems, preferably in the airline industry.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with ability to conduct classes on weekends, evenings and/or holidays, as needed.

Airport, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$22 to $25 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Learn and fully understand the new Amadeus/Altea reservation system to support the operations and training during transition.
  • Serve as classroom and/or field trainer to provide initial qualification and skills training in new reservation software.
  • Serve as the SME for all check in functionalities during the initial cutover period to new airport check in system.
  • Conduct quality control activities to assure the accuracy and adequacy of each training product including in-process/final review, editing for compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, validation and change verification.
  • Provide technical and operational expertise for training device hardware and software testing and utilization.
  • Partner closely with subject matter experts to enhance and develop training curricula and resources, to ensure that training curricula is relevant to new operating system.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in guest/customer service including check-in/reservation system experience required. Airport operations/airline experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with reservations/call center processes, including policies and procedures preferred.
  • Experience in Sabre and or Amadeus/Altea operating system preferred.
  • Public speaking or instructional delivery experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Aptitude to self-manage and operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity under minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to travel to the Neighbor Islands.
