Job Description

Work for an established local contracting company that's been in business for over 70 years! They are looking to hire a Trucking Dispatcher for a full-time opportunity!

The Trucking Dispatcher will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of products and goods. This position requires excellent multitasking skills as you could be overseeing at least 25 different truck drivers at any given time.

$19 to $25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Schedule, execute, and monitor company deliveries and pick-ups.
• Review and complete daily route paperwork.
• Dispatch deliveries to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Track deliveries using online system and adjust schedules if needed.
• Respond to and resolve any related dispatching issues that arise.
• Maintain an excellent relationship with all delivery drivers and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dispatching or related work experience required.
• Familiar with state and federal laws regarding truck driving safety (i.e. allowable hours to drive).
• Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Strong commitment to safety.
