We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutoring Program Coordinator to join our educational team. As the coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and overseeing our tutoring program, ensuring its success and positive impact on students' academic achievements. Hours
Part-time, Monday-Friday 2:00pm-5:30pm, Wednesday 1:00pm-5:30pm
Location
Honolulu, Oahu
Pay
$19 to $21 an hour
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the tutoring program.
- Recruit, train, and supervise tutors and volunteers.
- Coordinate student enrollment, assessments, and tutor assignments.
- Develop schedules to ensure consistent tutor coverage.
- Support students academically and monitor their progress.
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and teachers to promote student success.
- Maintain program records, reports, and budget oversight.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety guidelines.
- Promote the program within schools and the community and represent it at events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Services, or a related field.
- Experience in program coordination, education (minimum of 2 years).
- Ability to adapt to change, implement and execute new ideas effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to maintain one within 6 months of hire date.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
