If you have passion for details and enjoy fact collecting, you may be perfect for our unemployment Generalist position. A local Kama'aina company is seeking an unemployment Benefits Generalist! Your primary focus will be to collect information from our systems to determine if employees will qualify for unemployment insurance.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am- 4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$22 an hour

Responsibilities

• Review and intake UI monetary determinations.
• Calculate and enter UI weekly report of low earnings.
• Receive and respond to UI claims.
• Gather data, obtain documentation, and extract details.
• Communicate with clients via email and phone.
• Conduct research for unemployment hearings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Clear, articulate and professional in written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with numbers and data entry.
• Organized, responsible and have a high level of customer service and personal integrity.
• Ability to add, subtract multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and formulas.
• Must be detailed and and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
