Workforce Planning Analyst (223979-14)
An established professional services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst to support workforce planning, operational reporting, and business process improvement initiatives. This role partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain workforce data, prepare operational reports, coordinate staffing-related activities, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the organization.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving operational challenges, and creating processes that support informed business decisions.
Hours
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m.
Location
Downtown, Honolulu, Oahu
Pay
$55,000 to $62,000 a year
Responsibilities
- Coordinate workforce administration activities, staffing updates, and operational records
- Maintain accurate employee, project, and resource data across internal systems
- Monitor staffing capacity, utilization, and workload trends to support operational planning
- Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Support workforce forecasting and planning initiatives through data analysis and reporting
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, templates, standard operating procedures, and process documentation
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and maintain departmental records
- Collaborate with internal departments to support staffing, operations, and business initiatives
- Assist with process improvement projects, system implementations, audits, and special assignments
- Respond to internal inquiries while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Human Resources, Project Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
- Previous experience supporting business operations, workforce planning, project coordination, business analysis, or administrative operations preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret operational data and recommend practical solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations preferred
- Familiarity with business systems, project tracking platforms, HR software, or enterprise applications is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
