DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•      Process invoices and credit card receipts in an efficient and timely manner with complete accuracy.

•      Code and record invoices, expense reports, vouchers, check requests and other similar items in accordance with GAAP and Alpha, Inc. standards.

•      Ensure all vendor accounts remain current by managing and reconciling vendor statements and monitoring recurring charges

•      Investigate and resolve issues involving invoices, payments, and credit cards

•      Assist with monthly closings, bank reconciliations, and standard financial reporting. 

•      Prepare, file, and distribute Form 1099 and Form 1096/N-196 annually.

•      Prepare, submit, and record the monthly and annual General Excise Tax filings

•      Perform other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

•      Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

•      Minimum three (3) years of accounts payable or general accounting experience required.

•      Experience in the construction industry preferred

•      Proficiency in Microsoft Suites - Word, Excel and MAC Suites required.
