Job Description

*LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED*

Plans, develops and supervises corporate administrative functions. Plans, develops and administers all human resource functions including administering budgets, staffing, training work assignments, and performance reviews, etc.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Processes, Organization and Controls required to ensures ELCCO is lives up to its Safety Commitment Develops and manages the Corporate Administrative and HR Budgets
  • Manages and supports the corporate administrative functions including general administration, travel, fleet and equipment management
  • Responsible for on-boarding, Internship and Apprenticeship program
  • Develop and coordination for overall staff training program (ELCCO University)
  • Responsible for recruiting, sourcing, interviewing and hiring to support required staffing needs
  • Responsible for the Processes, Organization and Controls of all department standards
  • Responsible for professional/competency development training content (not skills/technical training)
  • Develop and manage the Employee Review Programs required to lead ELCCO’s employee experience BHAG i.e. Catalytic Coaching, ScoreCard, etc.
  • Stays aware of industry trends and develops employee compensation and benefit strategizes to ensure employee retention, manages compensation philosophy and practices
  • Influences and promotes ELCCO culture
  • Promotes and maintains positive employee relations with company
  • Supports Operations and Estimating as needed
  • Manages the leadership development program to prepare management succession candidates
  • Review/interpret contract legal requirements against prior historical contracts, liaises with ELCCO’s Legal Counsel, Estimator, PM, Risk Manager, President and Client, compiles feedback from each and documented and expedites the contract review process.
  • Assists the President as needed
Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS degree, 4-5 years of HR experience, leadership experience

  • Current working knowledge of employment law (union and non-union)

  • Strong project management capability

  • Proven record for creating healthy organizations, and helping drive a strong and winning culture
