Apprentice Plumber – All Levels (Service, New Construction, Remodel, Retrofit)

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Apprentice Plumber is to support plumbing operations across a variety of job types including service calls, construction projects, and system installations. Apprentices will assist with troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair work while developing their technical skills under the guidance of experienced plumbers.

This role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow direction while progressively taking on more responsibility.

Apprentices may work in commercial environments and will be exposed to a wide range of plumbing systems and applications.

Scope of Work

Apprentices at Maui Plumbing Inc. will gain experience in:

• Service and repair (fixtures, valves, waterlines, waste lines)
• Drain cleaning, cabling, and hydro-jetting
• CCTV inspection and system diagnostics
• New construction rough-in and top-out
• Remodel and retrofit piping systems
• Water heater installation (electric, gas, solar, tankless)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to learn and grow in the plumbing trade
• Ability to use or learn hand tools and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic math skills
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Ability to work in various environments including outdoors, confined spaces, and elevated areas
