Job Description

Position Overview: The Development Administrator (DA) provides administrative support to the Commercial development department. This role supports the internal communication and administrative processes of the development team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-directed and motivated while this position transitions from a remote position to an in-person office setting. 


  • Maintain ongoing communications with customers and team via emails, text messages, calls and company software. 

  • Maintain positive relationships between Development team and customers toward the goal of excellent standards of fulfilment 

  • Providing support to Chief Technology Officer and Director of Development including:

    • Reading emails for CTO and providing a daily update with action items of the general contents

    • Managing calendars for the commercial team

  • Being of assistance to any tasks that the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Revenue Officer and Director of RO needs to do and supporting them in any way necessary to fulfill the department's goals.

  • Participating fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.

  • Preparing for and attending weekly meetings, record minutes, and report on commercial leads acquired, scheduled customer meetings and other items.

  • Commercial lead qualification, including sending customer questionnaires and filing documents. 

  • Answering the Sales Hotline M-F 9am-5pm to receive leads and customer questions M-F 9am-5pm

  • Stay aware of the latest trends and developments in the solar industry; including news and current affairs and culture and its potential impact on the company 

  • Performs administrative functions including but not limited to; scanning, filing development documents as needed. 

  • Maintains inventory of Sales and Marketing collateral 

  • Other Duties as assigned by the Development team


Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated excellence in an executive assistant, secretarial or administrative role in the professional services industry (healthcare, education, legal services, financial services etc) 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, 

  • Detail oriented

  • Embraces deadlines and pressure to deliver 

  • Critical and analytical thinking skills

  • Self directed and motivated via a remote work environment

  • Customer service experience

  • Proficient at Excel, Word, Google Drive.

  • Willingness to learn new skills including how to use online portals

  • Adaptable in a fast paced work environment

  • Additional qualifications for consideration:

    • Mathematical skills

    • Solar PV experience
