Job Description

THE ELECTRICAL FOREMAN'S primary responsibility is to insure that projects are built on time, on budget, and per the plans, specifications, and amendments. This includes the coordination and delivery of all material, equipment, and labor ahead of the scheduled task in addition to the supervision and training of electricians and apprentices on the project. This Foreman will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial and industrial projects up to 3M

• Lead by example, monitor and continually re-enforce ELCCO's core values and purpose 
• Facilitate communication between field operations and project management 
• Maintain complete understanding of the approved scope and project documents saved in your field folder at all times. 
• Generate accurate Bills of Materials on your project buyouts with all relevant timelines 
• Responsible for insuring the safety of your crew at all times. 
• Insure all apprentices on your project are current with their training program's book and field assignments and schedules.
• Work to establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the construction budget and schedule for a given project.
• Secure, organize and maintain all of the project labor, material and equipment ahead of the scheduled task.
• Continually stay up to date on the project cost to date vs. estimated for your labor, commodities and DJEs
• Insure that all field installations and material requisitions are in alignment with the project specifications and drawings 
• Coordinate with all other trades, contractor and facility operations managers working on a job to ensure smooth work flows between all stakeholders
• Produce and submit all field documentation including but not limited to daily reports & pictures, time sheets, as-builts, picking tickets, invoices, etc...


• Minimum 2 year experience successfully running commercial and industrial projects 500K to 3M 
• Demonstrate through your actions and communications an alignment with the core values and purpose of ELCCO Inc.
• Ability to obtain Hawaii Electrical Supervisors License/Electrical Journeyman License with a clear understanding of the current Utility and National Electrical Codes
• Know and use computers efficiently to manage project correspondence and documentation.
• Proficient at business communications, including narrating and writing RFIs and emails 
• Minimum level II Journey worker with five (5) years experience in the following:
 Thorough understanding of the construction process.
 The installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using blueprints, schematics and sketches.
 Installation of electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.
 Installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, wiring, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment following drawings of electrical layouts and building plans.
 Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and properties of circuits in electrical wiring equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
