Alpha Inc. is seeking a Fuel / Lube Truck Assistant who will assist in fueling, lubrication and preventative maintenance on heavy equipement in the field in a safe and efficient manner.  This position will perform essential functions that aid in overall equipment functionality and efficiency.  This position is able to work PM hours of operation: Monday – Friday (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

• Inspect, grease and fuel heavy equipement on job sites.

• Aid in oil changes on heavy equipment and light vehicles.
• Assist in performing minor repairs (ex: replace hoses and filter, etc.) and preventative maintenance in the field.
• Keep truck clean and operational at all times and help keep yard as clean and neat as possible.
• Coordinate and communicate needed repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Operate fuel/lube truck safely and efficiently.
• Responsible for safe operation and securing of heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain fuel/lube truck and all products carried on truck.
• Comply with all D.O.T. rules and regulations.
• Assist mechanics with daily jobs.
• Maintain tools as required to perform on jobs.
• Aid in completing all necessary reports legibly and in a timely manner for daily service reports, work order closure, daily log sheets and timesheets.
• Communicate progress of repair with direct supervisor as required.
• Use company vehicle, service truck, and fuel cards, etc. properly and notify direct manager of any issues with the vehicle.
• Able to work PM hours of operation: Monday – Friday (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of CDL driving experience required.
• Minimum two (2) years mechanical experience required.

• Must have a valid, unexpired US drivers license and must have a clean driving record.

• Class A CDL required.

• Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) endorsement preferred.

• Tanker endorsement preferred.

• Must be able to physically lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment, and physically access all parts of equipment to perform job requirements.
