Laborer - Concrete

Pay Range:

• $19 - $30 per hour Depending on Experience

Essential Duties & Experience: 

• Load, unload, transport, and stage concrete materials, equipment, and tools.
• Assist with general site preparation duties, cleaning of equipment, monitoring jobsite to eliminate.
• Assist with building and setting up forms, molding expansion joints and edges.
• Assist with finished concrete work, using stains or colors to add the finishing touch.
• Assist with application of waterproofing, sealant, and hardening components.
• Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues.
• Assist with pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed. This includes handheld and power tool.
• Assist with molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work at various locations island wide.
• Follow directions well and perform tasks accurately with attention to detail.
• Communicates well verbally to convey information effectively.
• Skilled in using hand tools and operating mechanical equipment.
• Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment, and physically access all parts of equipment.
• Able to physically lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk.
