Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to foster a successful team environment. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining project schedules, jobsite documentation, cost reporting, billing, employee time tracking, and project correspondence while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience, along with a strong commitment to supporting and contributing to the company’s overall success.

Pay

$120,000 to $140,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
  • Oversee daily project operations, field activities, and coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Track project budgets, cost reports, forecasts, and billing to maintain financial performance.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, permitting requirements, and local building codes.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Manager and field leadership to ensure OSHA and company safety standards are maintained.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, budget, and project status.
  • Monitor quality control and resolve project issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate jobsite records, reports, correspondence, and employee time tracking.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and turnover requirements.
  • Foster strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
  • Minimum 7 years of construction project engineering and/or project management experience required.
  • Hawaii construction experience preferred.
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple project priorities.
  • Familiarity with local permitting processes, inspections, and building codes.
  • Strong experience managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Autodesk Forma or similar project management software, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite with a strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Combination of office and field/jobsite work environments.
  • Ability to travel statewide to project sites as needed.
  • Ability to walk active construction sites and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to comply with all company safety and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to comply with pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must possess valid driver's license and legal vehicle.
