Job Description



The Project Manager of the Energy Division will be responsible to secure and manage project cost, schedule and performance in conformance with company policy, standards, objectives and goals.  This position will manage energy, utility and infrastructure-based projects for both private and public sector clients.  The Project Manager of the Energy Division also ensures that project deadlines are met in a timely manner and will be committed to deliver quality work above and beyond specifications and expectations. 




-  Organize, partner and direct teams in the execution of energy, utility, power, reliability, central utility and infrastructure-based projects.

-  Design, develop and construct solutions to increase energy efficiency, optimize operations, and leverage renewable energy assets for a resilient future.

-  Responsible to drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, business goals and objectives.

-  Generate, review and approve estimates, contracts, change orders, work orders, etc.

-  Responsible for overall project management on all projects, profit/loss and successful completion from bid to closeout.

-  Investigate potential serious situations and implement corrective measures.

-  Create, review and maintain project schedules.

-  Prepare project documents including progress reports, project schedule updates, and financial/budget updates.

-  Work with project managers, superintendents and/or foremans to plan, organize and direct activities associated with projects.

-  Confer with project managers and superintendents to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.

-  Initiate periodic meetings and other forms of communication with project team members and customers to inform them with unresolved problems and provide solutions.

-  Monitor project progress for adherence to schedule and man hour expenditures versus percent complete.

-  Familiar with RFI’s, RFP’s, and CO’s that affect the original contact work and verify subcontractors are in compliance.

-  Draft all contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.

-  Monitor project scope for changes affecting budget and schedule; identify cause, advise customer and negotiate change in fee.

-  Ensure all daily construction related issues are being addressed and be responsible to ensure smooth transitions to clients

-  Identify solutions to any problem which might impede progress of the project or adversely affect customer relations.

-  Perform other duties as assigned.




-  Minimum five (5) years in commercial scale renewable energy or electrical required.

-  Minimum two (2) years of Project Management or supervisory required.

-  Experience with Battery Storage Systems and Utility Scale Distribution preferred.

-  Proficiency in Microsoft Suites - Word, Excel and MAC Suites required.

-  Proficiency in Bluebeam, or Adobe Acrobat preferred.

-  Proficiency in Project Management Accounting Software preferred.
