Job Description

A reputable construction firm is immediately looking for a Field Engineer to join their team and assist with upcoming residential projects on Maui! This position is based on Maui and requires the ability to conduct day trips to L?na?i as part of regular responsibilities.

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay

$80,000 to $95,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Provide overall support in every aspect of each project.
• Assist superintendent and project manager in field work support, estimating, RFI, submittal management, subcontracts.
• Assist with procurement.
• Handle document control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering, Construction Managment, or Architecture degree preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of construction procedures, building systems and tools.
• Ability to solve problems and work well under pressure.
• Knowledge reading plans, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent math and computer skills incl. Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore.
• Ability to effectively communicate with workers and vendors.
