Job Description

Utility company seeking an experienced administrative professional to join their team as a temporary Administrative Assistant. This role provides direct administrative support to the engineering department and duties include closing work orders and requests in the system, scanning documents and performing data entry, and organizing electronic documents of current and past service requests.

If you have 3 to 5 years of general office/administrative experience, are proficient with computers and software, and possess strong communication skills, we want to hear from you today.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay

$22 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Close work orders, service requests, material and asset accounting correlation via system.
  • Close out project notifications via data processing system.
  • Scan and input all job packets and/or project information into system.
  • Organize electronic documents for all current and past projects.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of general office/administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in using PC software programs such as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with data processing software (SAP) desired, but not required.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or other shared networked services accessible by multiple users.
  • General understanding of electrical equipment and accounting classification of varied assets desired, but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and direction.
