Job Description

Seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for 6 months with possible extension to 1 year based on business requirements and performance.

In this role, you will provide direct administrative support to the engineering team which includes analyzing and executing incoming requests, compiling and editing documents, and handling general clerical/admin tasks. Qualified candidates will have 3 to 5 years of general office/admin experience and possess strong communication and time-management skills.

This is a full-time, temporary position with a Monday to Friday schedule. Apply today to be immediately considered.

  • Analyze and execute incoming requests.
  • Compile and edit documents.
  • Draft internal memos, forms, and reports.
  • Analyze and update weekly/monthly records in spreadsheets.
  • Interact and work with staff from other departments.
  • Assist with maintaining annual project schedule.
  • Prepare, organize, and store information in both paper and digital form.
  • Run weekly and monthly reports.
  • Scan, print and photocopy documents.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Handle and coordinate corporate travel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • 3-5 years of general office/administrative experience.
  • Previous experience with SAP desired, but not required.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or other shared/networked services desired, but not required.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn new software systems (i.e., asset accounting, project monitoring, and project closing tasks).
  • Previous experience with document scanning and electronic organizational tools for filing.
  • Previous experience supporting a large group of diverse professional staff.
  • Strong time-management skills to handle various assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with a variety of individuals and groups.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including writing and editing.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
