Our BRAND-NEW BREWERY in Kailua-Kona is a state of the art facility with a major focus on sustainability, harnessing clean energy and renewable resources to brew and package Kona’s world class beers.

We’re expanding our Kona Brewing Hawaii Ohana to help support our growth.

Kona Brewing Hawaii is now accepting applications for our Brewery Technician role!     

Specific job duties:

Support the Company’s Purpose and Values
Perform duties in accordance with the company safety policies and procedures
Maintain attendance and punctuality
Safeguard raw materials for quality assurance and for accurate inventory
Monitor progress of beer through production cycle via brewery information system
Work with team members throughout the brewing and packaging process
Operate high speed packaging equipment - racking and canning
Assist in loading and unloading trucks; drive forklift as needed
Assist brewery supervisor(s) with inventory reconciliation
Perform basic equipment maintenance, regular sanitation, and housekeeping

Position requirements:

Brewing industry experience, and/or manufacturing production experience is preferred
Technical knowledge of brewing, fermentation and the finishing stage of beer production is preferred but not required
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
Flexible work schedule
A great team work ethic!

All production employees are expected to be able to:

Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, constantly evaluating work practices in the spirit of "always improving"
Communicate effectively and openly with team members
Work in a production environment that may be loud, hot, humid, or have wet/slippery floors
Regularly lift/carry heavy objects up to 55 lb. repeatedly and safely above waist level
Operate a pallet jack and complete forklift certification
