Job Description

Looking for a full-time accounting position? A successful company in Kailua-Kona is currently looking for a Corporate Accountant, who will oversee a great variety of related tasks.

Additio​nal Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate recording of accounting transactions
  • Responsible for bank reconciliations, other receivables, pre-paids, fixed assets, accruals, debt, intercompany and clearing account reconciliations
  • Analyze accounting data and produce financial reports  
  • Improve systems and procedures

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, other related fields, or equivalent work experience
  • Preferably 5 to 10 years of accounting management experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • CPA License 
  • Proficiency in using PC-based applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in math and analytical aptitude
