The Retail Sales Associate creates memorable shopping experiences for visitors to Lynn’s retail store at Royal Kona Resort. This position is primarily responsible for customer service and acts as an Aloha ambassador for the resort.

The role of Retail Sales Associate can provide you with:

A typical shift for the Retail Sales Associate may include the following responsibilities:

  • Promptly and courteously greet guests and assist with locating desired items. Answer inquiries and make recommendations.
  • Engage in creative merchandising to ensure full marketability of products and encourage sales.
  • Maintain proper ticketing of products and maintain inventory tracking.
  • Ensure safety rules and sanitation protocols are met.
  • Facilitate liquor sales within lawful regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and natural aptitude for service, as well as the ability to interact effectively and courteously with external and internal contacts. The ideal candidate will have previous cash-handling experience, with strong preference for retail cashiering experience. Related experience should include responsibility of a cash bank and familiarity with processing different methods of payment in line with accounting procedures.

 

The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and attributes:

  • Ability to speak, read and write in the English language.
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain Department of Liquor card.
  • Ability to stand and walk for eight (8) or more hours.
  • Neat and professional appearance, a genuine Spirit of ALOHA and the desire to serve.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete all pre-employment screening.
