Hours

Full-time, Monnday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Location

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting support to assist with paying bills and cost coding invoices.
  • Assemble client billing package in accordance with approval procedures and processes to ensure billings are received by clients in a timely manner and payments are received as per contract terms and conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with onsite project team to confirm that installed/supplied work/materials are consistent with each month?s billing submission.
  • Support the accounting team by collecting, reconciling, seeking approval, and processing vendor payments, as requested, in a timely and accurate manner to meet payment terms and conditions.
  • Prepare bank deposits and subsequent cash receipt entries where required.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum six months to one year of accounting experience.
  • Prior experience in construction or a related industry a plus.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Highly customer service oriented.
  • High level of detail orientation.
