Accountant (AccL)

A successful hospitality company is looking for a full-time Accountant or a direct-hire! The primary task of the Accountant will be preparing and examining financial records to make sure that records are accurate and that taxes and payroll are paid properly and on time.

  • Process biweekly payroll via third-party payroll administrator.
  • Process all monthly invoices (A/R and A/P).
  • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing monthly reports.
  • Ensure accuracy of statements and that statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
  • Suggest ways to reduce costs and enhance revenues.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups.
  • Guide accounting clerical staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Controller/Director of Finance.


  • Bachelor?s degree in tax, accounting, or finance preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in accounting/finance with 3 years experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
