Join the team at a premier Big Island resort as a Hawaiian Anchialine Pond Keeper, where you’ll help care for the property’s unique anchialine ponds and surrounding landscape. This full-time position features early start times, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons free while working outdoors in one of the island’s most beautiful settings.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay

$24 an hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain the landscape and anchialine ponds, including care for marine life.
• Clean and remove algae from ponds.
• Water, fertilize, and care for the grounds.
• Assist with trimming, planting, and weeding.
• Maintain and operate equipment with care and responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• At least 6 months of recent, verifiable labor experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in sun and pond environments for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
