Busy resort in the Keauhou area is seeking Banquet Porters and Hosts to join their team.

Banquet Porter duties include setting up and breaking down tables and chairs and making any repairs. In this role, you will make $16.35 per hour, plus tips.

Host duties include welcoming guests and seating them at their tables. In this role, you will make $19.31 per hour.

Qualified candidates will have previous customer service and/or food and beverage experience, and possess strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Banquet Porter ($16.35/hr, plus tips)

• Set up tables and chairs in banquet and conference rooms according to event/customer specifications.
• Breakdown tables and chair post-event, and store in facility.
• Ensure tables and chairs are functioning properly, make any necessary repairs.
• Provide prompt, courteous services to guests.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Hosts ($19.31/hr)

• Welcome guests as they enter.
• Provide menus and answer initial questions.
• Seat guests at tables (based on their table preference) and/or in the waiting areas.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service and/or food and beverage, highly preferred.
• Possess strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, reliable, hardworking.
• TB Clearance issued within the past 5 years
