A high-end resort on the Kona coast is seeking dedicated Cooks (Levels 3-4) to join its team and deliver exceptional culinary experiences for guests. If you have a love for food and a desire to work in a dynamic kitchen setting, we want to hear from you!

Hours

Full-time, 4-5 shifts per week, AM & PM shifts available

Location

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay

$23.50 to $25 an hour, Based on Experience

Responsibilities

• Receive, rotate, and stock food supplies.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Responsible for production of your single station.
• Assist with service of menu items during meal periods, banquets and other special occasions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Ability to read recipes and re-produce them accurately as well as understand standard measurements, temperatures and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time, and able to regularly bend, kneel and lift supplies as needed.
